Sensory-friendly Film Showings at Select AMC Theaters

July 10, 2015 By Diane

Grab your popcorn, snacks, and put on your goggles in search of the world’s biggest, baddest villain! AMC Theaters across the country are offering sensory-friendly film showings on a monthly basis for children with ASD and other special needs. The sound will be turned down, the lights will be up, and the audience is welcome to walk around, shout, or sing!

The next monthly showing is MINIONS, on Saturday 7/18 at 10 AM. This film will be shown in four AMC locations in Seattle (Cascade Mall 16, Kent Station 14, Lakewood Mall 12, and Woodinville 12) and one in Spokane (River Park Square 20). For more information and future showings, visit the AMC site. Show times and dates are subject to change, so don’t forget to call the theater beforehand to verify dates and times for films.
