As part of their Autism 200 class series, Seattle Children’s Autism Center has organized a panel addressing the topic of multicultural issues. Families as well as providers are welcome to attend this free event, which will be held on Thursday, 9/15 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. The panel will include parents and staff from Open Doors for Multicultural Families and the Arc of King County, and discussion will focus on obstacles to – and strategies for – accessing information, support, and treatment across systems (e.g., educational, medical, state agencies).
