The Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) is seeking input from individuals with ASD, family members, community providers, advocates, and researchers to inform the development of its strategic plan for 2016. The IACC is a federal advisory committee that coordinates all efforts within the Department of Health and Human Services related to ASD, and helps ensure that a wide range of ideas and perspectives are represented in a public forum. Public comments are being accepted now through July 29, 2016. Now is the time to provide your input and feedback on the seven key topic areas at the center of the strategic plan: diagnosis and screening, underlying biology, risk factors, treatments, services, lifespan issues, and other infrastructure and surveillance needs.
