Last week the READi lab team held another Reciprocal Imitation Training (RIT) workshop for a lively group of 19 educators from the Northwest Center Kids Early Learning Program in Greenwood. The workshop includes several group activities, such as role-playing, observing live demonstrations, and hands-on practice with children. Pictured below is Sarah Edmunds, an RIT trainer, leading a role-play activity in which participants practice RIT strategies with each other before trying them out with a volunteer child. We will soon be hitting the road, traveling to different counties across the state as we implement the Screen-Refer-Treat project!
