I just wanted to thank you and your team for such an amazing experience through both in the Pathway Study and the diagnostic evaluation.  We learned so much through the study and felt supported the whole way. In particular your participant care was next level – I always felt I had everything I needed and it made participating really low stress, I was able to focus on what I was learning about my child. Participating in this study has been both enjoyable and incredibly impactful to our daily lives. We’ve been able to implement intervention services for my son sooner than we would have without being involved in the study. The team was kind, incredibly organized and flexible to our ever-changing schedule. I learned so much in our parent training, which I continue to use every day. I’m so thankful for what we’ve learned and accomplished through participating in this study. I really can’t say enough positive things about this experience!

I really care about this study. It’s made me love research! Now, I try to keep up with all the autism studies I can find, all the evidence-based interventions, and also all the TV shows with characters on the spectrum, like Julia on Sesame Street.

It was a pleasure to work with you and your team. We hope for the best with the rest of the study. And we appreciate that people put their academic effort into research that will hopefully support families like ours.

This is a great tool not only for families but for VERY busy/over-loaded providers…[this is a resource] I can direct families to and incorporate as part of  my interventions with families and young children with ASD.

We wanted to say thank you. I think [my child] has benefited immensely in participating in the ImPACT Study. We have learnt a lot in the past 9 months.

[The DVD] answered lots of my questions — and made me feel less alone. 

The strategies were practical and explained very well. The videos with actual children in actual situations were very helpful, as it’s sometimes very hard to imagine following the text instructions with your child.

The video examples were wonderful. I had read a little bit about these techniques before, but seeing them in action definitely made me understand them better. 

Over the years we have participated in a few different studies [in your lab]. We really respect and have enjoyed the interaction with your team.

I attended your RIT training session last year. RIT (Reciprocal Imitation Training) has been of wonderful help to our kid and our family. Thanks a bunch for that! His imitation skills have improved a lot, thanks to the RIT I was able to do with him.
