Have you worked with the UW READi Lab? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Please share your experience with us.
Grateful for SRT Study
Thank you for your work. You are an amazing team and it was a privilege and honor to be part of the work. (SRT Community partner)
About the Pathways Study
I just wanted to thank you and your team for such an amazing experience through both in the Pathway Study and the diagnostic evaluation. We learned so much through the study and felt supported the whole way. In particular your participant care was next level – I always felt I had everything I needed and it made participating really low stress, I was able to focus on what I was learning about my child. You thought of everything and I really, really appreciate it.
STAT Training workshop – thank you!
Thank you for all of your wonderful support over the past year. We are so grateful for our partnership with the UW and for all the good work you do. Our staff has been very positive with their reviews of the trainings and support you have.
Invaluable Experience
I am so thankful for the time that I was able to spend at the READi Lab working with you and the team. The experiences I was able to gain working with families and learning so much about ASD has truly prepared me so much for the BCBA program and fieldwork I’m participating in now.
STAT Training workshop
You are all such wonderful presenters! All of your trainings are extremely organized, informative, and engaging. As someone that attends a lot of trainings yours really stand out. All of the information and additional materials are incredibly relevant and useful. We’re very appreciative 🙂
About the ImPACT Study
Participating in this study has been both enjoyable and incredibly impactful to our daily lives. We’ve been able to implement intervention services for my son sooner than we would have without being involved in the study. The team was kind, incredibly organized and flexible to our ever-changing schedule. I learned so much in our parent training, which I continue to use every day. I’m so thankful for what we’ve learned and accomplished through participating in this study. I really can’t say enough positive things about this experience!
SRT Study
I really care about this study. It’s made me love research! Now, I try to keep up with all the autism studies I can find, all the evidence-based interventions, and also all the TV shows with characters on the spectrum, like Julia on Sesame Street.
ImPACT Study – Thank you!
It was a pleasure to work with you and your team. We hope for the best with the rest of the study. And we appreciate that people put their academic effort into research that will hopefully support families like ours.
About using Reciprocal Imitation Training (RIT)
It’s an easy way for me to play and interact with my child and help him learn at the same time.
Thanks for a great RIT Training!
I wanted to give a huge thank you to all who made the [RIT] training happen yesterday. Thank you Roya to your team who did a great job…Thank you University of Washington for always being professional and bringing us valuable information.
About the SRT Study
I appreciate research that can improve the lives of parents like me. I’m so happy to participate in this study even though I’m so busy because I value ASD research so much.
ImPACT Study
It was a fun experience for us. You’re helping a lot of kids and I hope you feel the import of what you do. Thank you!
About the online parent tutorial for increasing children’s engagement during everyday home routines
This is a great tool not only for families but for VERY busy/over-loaded providers…[this is a resource] I can direct families to and incorporate as part of my interventions with families and young children with ASD.
About the online parent tutorial for increasing children’s engagement during everyday home routines
Very clear and well-paced. I appreciate it wasn’t overwhelming from a family perspective.
ImPACT Study – Thank You!
We wanted to say thank you. I think [my child] has benefited immensely in participating in the ImPACT Study. We have learnt a lot in the past 9 months.
Pupil Dilation Study
This was my son’s first opportunity to be a part of research and to assist with something so unique. He felt like a part of the team and of course some new shiny cars (the prizes he chose after his visits) aren’t bad either. I wish you all the best in what you’re attempting to accomplish.
Understanding Autism DVD
[The DVD] answered lots of my questions — and made me feel less alone.
The tutorial was exceptional!
The strategies were practical and explained very well. The videos with actual children in actual situations were very helpful, as it’s sometimes very hard to imagine following the text instructions with your child.
Online Tutorial
The video examples were wonderful. I had read a little bit about these techniques before, but seeing them in action definitely made me understand them better.
We respect your team
Over the years we have participated in a few different studies [in your lab]. We really respect and have enjoyed the interaction with your team.
Thanks a bunch!
I attended your RIT training session last year. RIT (Reciprocal Imitation Training) has been of wonderful help to our kid and our family. Thanks a bunch for that! His imitation skills have improved a lot, thanks to the RIT I was able to do with him.
THANK YOU!
We have gotten so much great feedback regarding the [RIT] training. You and your team were absolutely fantastic – I hope you can continue the trainings because they are SO beneficial in empowering communities like ours!
Field Trip
Thank you so much for welcoming my class to the READi Lab for our field trip yesterday! The students truly enjoyed hearing about all of the fascinating research that you are conducting, but I was awestruck by the amount of time, energy, and care that you and everyone in the lab put into making the visit a truly transformative experience for the students…Your work and research also highlighted to students the important intersection between laboratory and community.
STAT Training
On behalf of all the participants, I’d like to thank you for a wonderful day learning about the STAT. It was a truly rewarding experience for all of us who care about families affected by Autism and other developmental disabilities.
